The two addresses above differ deliberately. The registered address is the one recorded on the commercial register and the establishment card; the office is where we work, receive clients and take correspondence. Neither contradicts the other.
These details are published to meet the requirement in Law No. 16 of 2010 on Electronic Commerce and Transactions that a service provider identify itself clearly.
What we are, and what we are not
Marka is an intellectual property and business-services establishment, registered in the commercial sector. We act as agent in the procedures for registering intellectual property rights before the competent authorities, and we carry out company formation and government transactions.
We are not a law firm or a law office, and we do not provide advocacy services or representation before the courts. Where a matter requires litigation, we instruct licensed Qatari counsel and run the file alongside them.
Nothing on this website may be read as describing us as lawyers or as a law practice.

No fees, charges or turnaround times are published on this site, and that is deliberate: official fees depend on the number of classes and territories, our fees depend on the scope of work, and the timetable depends on the examination queue and on any objections or oppositions that arise.
Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer. A written quotation is provided for each matter before any step is taken.

All text, design, logos, marks and graphics on this site are owned by Marka Intellectual Property and Business Services or used under licence from their owner, and are protected under Law No. 7 of 2002 on the Protection of Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and under trademark protection.
You may read, print and quote from the content with attribution to its source. You may not copy, republish, use commercially or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. In particular, you may not attempt unauthorised access to the site or its systems, disrupt or overload it, use the contact form to send bulk, promotional or malicious messages, or scrape its data for an unlawful purpose.
Some of these acts may constitute offences under Law No. 14 of 2014 on Combating Cybercrime.

Language
This site is published in Arabic and English, and Arabic is its original language. Where the two texts differ in meaning, the Arabic text prevails.

These terms, and everything connected with the use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
